Staff were helpful despite very late arrival
Very run down. Curtains falling off rail and stained. Generally poorly decorated. Electrice poking through wardrobe. Front fell off draw when I tried to open it.
they upgraded the room we had booked as they had had a vacancy that day and i was really impressed at how helpful they were.
good atmosphere. freindly staff. location.
not really - but would benefit from being redecorated!
The rooms are beautiful and the staff very very friendly
The checkout time was very early and breakfast was only served from 7 30- 8 45 which is too short and too early for a seaside hotel.
The staff were kind & helpful, the hotel is in a fantastic beach side location perfect for the beach or the town.
The staff was congenial and eager to please.
The hotel is very outdated. The plumbing is noisy, the carpets are worn and not tacked down, draperies worn, faded and dusty. I was uncomfortable walking on them in bare feet, so wore stockings the whole time I was there.
clean and comfortable, not too far away from the railway station, nice view from our room, good breakfast
The view of the sea from the bedroom window, the friendly staff, the clean and comfy bed
Bathroom too cramped, toilet too close to the shower. Carpet had been pulled away from the skirting board all of the way around the bedroom and was threadbare in the bathroom.
Clean sheets and towels good full breakfast.
Needs a little TLC
The staff were very courteous and helpful. The location to the the town was just what we needed and were satisfied
Although obvious signs like walls emulsioned and the bedding very clean. The place could do do with refurbishing, carpets old & frayed.Needed some hooks in the bathroom, nowhere to hang towel or bathrobe, everything else in there was very acceptable
The location is superb and the staff were polite and friendly and the breakfast was good.
There was no hot water coming out of the tap in the bathroom.
great location. Good parking.
windows of bedroom 17 could do with a clean outside.
the bar, the breakfast as a whole, the wonderful staff, catering for my dietary needs, the room decor, the cleanliness, the views, the quietness
the breakfast sausages and bacon could have been better quality
i have stayed at this hotel a few times, and will keep going back. the staff are very efficient and the rooms are spotless.
Friendly, helpful staff - beautiful location - very relaxing. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
I was a little disappointed with the quality of the full english breakfast.
